TODAY’S HEADLINES:
- CDC and local health authorities total count now 201 cases in U.S.
- CDC: Of US hospitalizations, large numbers of patients have underlying conditions which would predispose them to seasonal flu
- CDC: Early evidence suggests there is efficacy when people are treated early in their illness, recommend getting treated in first 24-48 hours

- United Air plane from Munich to DC diverted to Boston after passenger complains of flu symptoms
- President Obama: Swine flu may run its course like ‘ordinary flus’ but government still preparing
- US health officials say new swine flu virus lacks traits found in deadly 1918 flu strain.
- New domestic cases confirmed in Connecticut, Florida, Indiana, Missouri, Nebraska (NE case previously counted in CA per CDC)
- New case confirmed in Denmark. The person had flown Continental from New York to Copenhagen and went to a local hospital a few hours later. Denmark's health authority is reaching out to everyone on the flight to inform them of the contact.
