Heisman Trophy winners visit Hastings


(11/05/2009) News 5 Sports - Heisman Trophy winners Steve Owens, Billy Sims and Jason White of Oklahoma and Johnny Rodgers, Eric Crouch and Mike Rozier of Nebraska were at Allen's Superstore in Hastings to sign autographs Thursday night. No doubt, there were great Heisman memories in Hastings Thursday night.

No doubt that was a magic moment when former Husker quarterback Eric Crouch was announced as 2001 Heisman Trophy winner.

That season, Nebraska played in the Rose Bowl and lost the National Championship to the Miami Hurricanes. The Huskers finished 11–2. Eric wrapped up his college career which started in 1998.
