Texas faces tough Husker defense




(11/30/2009) News 5 Sports - It is a battle of one of the best offense's in the country against one of the best defenses in the nation for the Big 12 Title this Saturday. And, it will be the biggest test of the season for Both Texas and Nebraska.

Texas is back in the Big 12 Title game for the first time since 2005, when they won the National Championship.

The Longhorns have the number one ranked scoring offense in the Big 12 averaging 43 points per game.

But, they have not seen the Black shirt defense. Coach Pelini's crew is the second ranked total defense in the conference, and has the number one scoring defense in the Big 12.

Monday, in the Big 12 teleconference call Texas shows a lot of respect to the Black Shirts.

Colt McCoy has faced Nebraska twice in his four year career at Texas.
McCoy is 2–0 against the Huskers.
