Santa Claus came to town!!!




(11/28/09) By KHAS-TV - He traveled all the way from the North Pole to make a special stop in downtown Hastings.

Earlier Sunday, Santa Claus met and took photos with about 50 boys and girls.

Hastings resident Fred Hansen played Santa.

This is his fourth year wearing the big red suit. He said it is a joy making kids smile.

“The kids are just so receptive and their smiles light up. It's just a lot of fun to have the little boys and girls come out here and visit us and we enjoy having them,” said Santa.

Infiniti Photo in Hastings provided photography services. The Downtown Center Association sponsored this event.

If your kids missed Santa, do not worry. He will be at the corner of 2nd and Hastings every Thursday evening and Saturday afternoon until December 19th.
