Big Red Blitz - A look back






(11/22/09) By Colin Murphy - There is one more game to play before Nebraska heads to Arlington Texas. But, it is hard not look ahead. So, let's look back.

It's time for the Big Red Blitz.

The game against Kansas State is the last time the seniors will step on the field at Memorial Stadium.

And, the veterans on this team and their teammates went out as Big 12 North Champs with a 17–13 WIN.

By keeping Kansas State out of the end–zone in Nebraska has not allowed a touchdown in the final 10 quarters of the season at home.

The offense still needs a lot of work.

But, Coach Watson's unit put points on the board when it counted.

A match–up with Texas for the Big 12 Title is on December 6th.

But, Coach Pelini's squad is thinking abut the present. And, beating Colorado to pick up their fifth straight win.
