(11/15/2009) By Colin Murphy - Giltner has not won a state title in 25 years. And, that was the last time the Hornets were in the state finals.

Now, they are one game away from getting to Lincoln. But, they will have to go through the Palmer Tigers.

Giltner versus Palmer is our Aurora Cooperative Game of the Week.

Both teams are looking for some revenge.

In the second week of the season Palmer beat Giltner on their home field 46–37.

Palmer wants back after the Tigers were eliminated from the post season by Coach Jeff Ashby's Hornets.

Ever since the week two loss, Giltner have won 9 straight since games. And, have been waiting for another shot at Palmer.

Meanwhile, the Tigers are unbeaten this season.

Both squads said they know the importance of this game and cannot wait to take the field.

The first meeting between the two schools was played on a Saturday night after it had to be rescheduled due to poor weather.
