York dentist forced to give up license

(8/19/2009) KHAS-TV - A York dentist facing disciplinary action has given up his Nebraska license. In a settlement with the department of health and human services Dr. Mark Brouillette surrendered his dental license for 2 years.

A petition for disciplinary action had been filed by the attorney general.
Brouillette can reapply for another license, but it has to be approved by the department and the state Board of Dentistry.

In February, Brouillette was sentenced to three years' probation for attempted delivery of a controlled substance.

Authorities said he wrote a prescription for the pain reliever Percocet for a woman whom he never examined.
