Free dental work available for kids

(6/15/2009) By Josh Bonifas - Tri–City kids have a chance to receive free dental work this week. The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile arrived in Grand Island Monday. The vehicle is staffed with a dentist and two dental assistants.

A number of local dentists are also volunteering their time.

They are providing dental work at no cost to children from low income families.

"We are full but we have room for filling in case no shows happen. Things like that, so all they have to do is give us a call and we will get them in. We will get x–rays taken, we will find out what they need and we will find a spot for them," said Susan Aguilar.

The care mobile will be open from 8:00 to 5:00 through Friday at the 3rd City Community Clinic located on Broadwell Avenue.
