Public invited to vote on new Nebraska license plates

(5/04/2009) By James Wilcox - You have a chance to help pick what the new Nebraska license plates will look like. There are 4 you can vote from. They are listed here on the state website for the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Among the designs is one featuring the state bird and state flower. Another shows a picture of the capital.

Voting is open until May 17th. The plates go into effect in 2011.
