Tri-City Storm officially has new owner


(4/02/2009) By Ed Littler - It is official, the Tri–City Storm Hockey team and First Tier Events Center has a new owner. His name is Kirk Brooks and he will be at the arena for the Storm's final two games of the season Friday against Sioux City and Saturday with Sioux Falls.

The new owner will introduce himself tomorrow at a 10:00 am press conference at the Events Center. Kirk Brooks lives in Las Vegas and is on his way to the Tri–Cities.

Details of the sale will be made at Friday's press conference.

The Storm has had a rough year with a record of 11 and 46 and are locked in in last place in the USHL West going into the final homestand of the season.
